A SEACOOP cooperation office established in Singapore

Through a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Orionis, coordinator of the SEACOOP project, and the A*STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), the Singaporean partner of the project, it has been agreed that the project coordinator will establish, from January 1, 2008 on, a SEACOOP cooperation office in I2R premises. This office will allow ensuring a more efficient liaison between the project coordinator (based in Europe) and the other project partners (all based in Southeast Asia), and will be the project contact point for Southeast Asian and European ICT organizations based in Southeast Asia and interested in project perspectives and services.
