Nice (France) - April 2, 2009

The BeyWatch project, a European initiative aiming at developing an energy-aware and user-centric solution, able to provide intelligent energy monitoring/control and power demand balancing at home/building & neighborhood level in which Sigma Orionis is a partner, is very pleased to announce that its first workshop will be held on November 17, 2009 in Nice, France. Aiming at spreading the project concepts and results towards the whole connected home community in Europe and beyond, the workshop will also intend to agree on a consensus for the roadmap on further research in the field. In order to make the workshop valuable both for representatives of the BeyWatch consortium and the workshop attendees, all players involved in the field of ICT for energy efficiency (from white good manufacturers to utilities and telcos) are cordially invited to participate in the workshop.
