The 2nd 'EU-Japan Cooperation Forum on ICT research', organised under the aegis of the European Commission (DG Information Society and Media) and of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Japan, with the support of the COJAK FP7/ICT Project coordinated by Sigma Orionis, will be held on July 2, 2009 at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Brussels. The first edition of this Forum took place in Tokyo on March 4-5, 2008. This second edition will provide European and Japanese organisations interested in the development of joint R&D projects in the ICT area (particularly projects to be presented at FP7 Calls for proposals) with an additional opportunity to get together, network, and envision such collaborative projects.
