Two cooperation events have been successfully organised in Tokyo on June 18, and in Daejeon (Korea) on June 22, in the framework of the EU-funded COJAK project that Sigma Orionis has been coordinating. Both events, attended by around 50 representatives from leading ICT institutions and research organisations, have reached their main objectives: to introduce in detail the opportunities offered by FP7 to strengthen EU-Korea and EU-Japan cooperation on ICT research and to develop an open discussion on how to enable to a more substantial development of such cooperation projects. Detailed information on event background, objectives and outputs are available through the two dedicated web sites: http://www.eurojapan-ict.org and http://www.eurosouthkorea-ict.org.
