The agenda for the ICT for sustainable homes conference is available
Sophia Antipolis (France) - September 3, 2009

Sigma Orionis and the BeyWatch project, are very pleased to announce the availability of the draft agenda of the ICT for sustainable homes conference, to be held on Nov. 16 & 17 in Nice, France.

Featuring over 35 high-level speakers from key stakeholders, the event is devoted to the new challenges faced by all players developing innovative products and services for the home: how to put ICT at the service of “greener homes” (lower energy consumption, reduced impact on the environment), to consider new consumer patterns (more meaningful and affordable products), to anticipate new markets at the international scale, and more generally to ensure a true sustainable home, i.e. not only a “greener” home but a home in which the elderly and the disabled will have a better life, in which health, security, communication, knowledge and learning will be improved thanks to ICT, etc.

Take advantage of the insights from high-level keynote speakers:

- Roger Torrenti, CEO of Sigma Orionis
- Daniel Richard, President of WWF France - Invited
- Pablo Katz, Architect
- Luc Bourdeau, General Secretary of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP)

- Pierre Plaza, Division Manager at Telefonica I+D and Coordinator of the Beywatch Project
