The FP7/ICT EuroAfrica-ICT.org initiative is an European project spanning over 24 months (2010-2011) with the aim of supporting policy dialogues and strengthening cooperation on ICT research between Europe and (sub-Saharan) Africa. This new project is defined in full continuity with and builds upon the substantial results obtained and the significant momentum created by two previous initiatives: the FP6/IST START project (2006-2008) and the FP7/ICT EuroAfriCa-ICT (2008-2009) projects -- both coordinated by Sigma Orionis.
The Project can help you to increase your participation in joint ICT research projects funded under FP7 and involving European and sub-Saharan organisations. Don’t hesitate to visit the different sections of the website: identified common research priorities, EuroAfrica-ICT cooperation events and other related events, helpdesk services, FP6 and FP7 list of success stories and related statistics, the database of excellence research centres, the virtual community of European and African researchers, the EuroAfrica-ICT repository, etc. Feel free, in addition, to subscribe to the EuroAfrica-ICT.org monthly eN’letter, to answer the ongoing poll, and to join the LinkedIn EuroAfrica-ICT Group. |
