EINS

While many sciences evolve in parallel, they are sometimes related through the Internet. The Network of Excellence on Internet Science “EINS” addresses the development of an integrated and interdisciplinary scientific understanding of Internet networks and their co-evolution with society, and the fragmentation of European research in this area. Its main objective is to enable an open and productive dialogue between all disciplines studying Internet systems from any technological or humanistic perspective (and being transformed by continuous advances in Internet functionality).

Sigma Orionis leads the activities addressing “Workshops and conferences, cooperation with projects, and publications” and contributes to the WP related to “ePresence, Dissemination and Awareness” and to “Joint courses and graduate programmes”.
