Share and inspire: Infoday on CAPS in Horizon 2020

Brussels - December 16, 2014

Share and inspire: Infoday on CAPS in Horizon 2020 is a one-day event, organised by the European Commission with the support of the CAPS2020 project. The Infoday, held at the premises of the European Commission in Brussels (Belgium) will provide participants with an overview of the upcoming CAPS Call under Horizon 2020. The event will also feature panel discussions, pitches and informal networking as well as an introduction to the CAPS2015 event.

Networks, IoT, collective intelligence, participation: rethinking the present and defining avenues towards a participatory Innovation ecosystem. This panel, with interventions from the public and via Twitter #CAPSSI, will be discussing questions such as:

  • Are distributed architectures for decentralised data management an essential element of such an ecosystem? How can CAPS solutions scale up? How to ensure real openness?
  • Which emerging paradigms for network-enabled collective intelligence hold most promise of success? What is most innovative in digital social innovation, collaborative economy, makers, etc.?
  • Related national initiatives and possible synergies?
