WANTED: Best ICT-enabled social innovations in Europe
The Young Foundation and the Zentrum für Soziale Innovation in collaboration with the European Commission´s JRC-IPTS (Joint Research Center – Institute for Prospective Technological Society) and DG EMPLOY (Directorate General – Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion) are gathering evidence to support EU Member States in the reform of their social protections systems: they are collecting exceptional sound cases where Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have successfully boosted social innovation and created better and more cost effective welfare services for citizens across Europe.
Should you have a case to report, please fill-in the online form HERE. Should you have heard of an interesting initiative, please, fill free to email Fiorenza Lipparini to point it out to the team of researcher.
The best initiatives will be further investigated by the European Commission´s JRC-IPTS with the support of the Young Foundation research team and included in the IESI (ICT-Enabled Social Innovation) Knowledge Map, which will be widely circulated within policy makers at EU, national, and local levels, to inform their future social-policy work.
